Hello again my lovelies, I hope this blog post finds you well and enjoying a bit of weekend relaxation. This week was my supposed 'less busy' one but as usual I managed to fill it up with lots of things, even today my 'day off' hasn't been of the lying bed all day variety that I had planned. This week I had lots of nice lunch dates catching up with friends, getting to know new ones, work, falling back into the exercise regime, skyping friends back home and watching a lot of Netflix... And yes I am tired and yes it has been a week where at times I have wanted to just hide in my bed for the day but by the end of the week and I think particularly end of Friday I was overwhelmingly happy. Who says you can't make friends with salad? Had this tasty treat from New Leaf when I caught up with a new netball friend Sarah. A very tasty Chai Latte from Coffee Revs during my catch up with the lovely Jennifer  As it is the last day of February today- I can&#

Hello again my dear readers, Long time no blog post. I know and the usual apologies are due. But this weekend has been a bit of a full on one so it's only really now I'm taking the time to sit down and write to you. I shall of course, as I know you have been waiting frantically refreshing this page, update you with what I've been up to this week before getting down to the main event. So this last week has been another particularly busy one with no free evenings until Friday when I just flopped with Netflix and a cup of tea. However within this hectic whirlwind of life there was so much fun. On Monday I managed to find time to have coffee/lunch with my friend Jess (who also has a blog- check her out here ) and it was so nice to just sit down and catch up. I definitely like that my later lecture start on a Monday means I can choose how I fill it, then I had some work shadowing and then work later in the evening. Following on from the delicous Salted Caramel Hot Cho

Hello again my dear readers, I bet you did not expect to hear from me again so soon but here's a little blog post for you as a treat to start the weekend off . Speaking of treats... Flowers don't always have to be bought for you. I bought these gorgeous lilies for myself last weekend and they've just bloomed. Modelled perfectly in my sparkly birthday vase from Jess and Tom. My weekly update: This week has been a horrendously busy one and I am absolutely knackered now that the weekend has arrived in all its in your face romantic glory. Monday was strange as my second semester started and Uni kicked in again but unlike my packed schedule of last semester I only have the one lecture at 3pm meaning I had a more leisurely start than usual which I would need to keep my energy up for the rest of the week. Tuesday was less nice as I revisited the bleakness that is 9am lectures (I have no idea how I got up this early as a high school student) and had a packed sche

Hello my lovelies, I hope this blog post finds you well and relaxed. Sorry for the belatedness but it has been a pretty hectic couple of weeks.  I started back at University this week which is a bit crazy considering I've been in Sheffield for over a month now I think but it feels far to soon as Holidays weren't really a break with essays to write and exams to revise for so I felt like I needed a week to recover after my last exam on Tuesday last week. Already this week has been a busy one - even though I am already only three days in- with lectures, seminars, societies and work all coming to the forefront again. However this busyness is beautiful (as well as tiring) and I am blessed to have the wonderful opportunities that I have. But what really has dominated the last week and a bit has been my 20th birthday. If you remember in my last blog post I was worrying about what it would mean to leave my teens and 'grow up'. However I have resolved to work on 'g
